New boards layout?

Hi,

Just a thought.... The combo box which allows you to jump to different boards, would it not make sense to include the topics with new posts etc etc in it also? Surely that way, you could get rid of all the links, just have the jump to combo box, and save space? Would look tidier...

I mentioned it to J the other night, and know he was going to see about it. He said it would have to be written in differently though so would take a little more work.

I agree with including The Topics with New Posts and those other 2 options in the combo box. Or they could be in a combo box of their own.

hmm, Rachel, don't like which bit? Just wondering.... And when I surgested this, i meant, ditch the main catigary and just have a combo box, i.e. no links so it's not so crouded

Yeah, I like this new layout also. The links are OK, but it would probably be much easier and quicker to get around with just the combo box. I'm trying to start using that. *smiles*

don't like the combo box there. guess I just got use to all the links. I know they take up more space (I'm not sure about code though) but combo boxes sometimes work badly with jaws. (not all the time) yep just hate change.
